Just another way of saying goodbye. Don't take it too literal. Some people say, "Catch you later." or "Hey!" or "See you around."

"Take it easy" doesnt mean anything like "lighten up".
Just means "goodbye".
Same as if they had said "Catch ya later".
All the same.
