I met this guy on a dating site...we chatted for like 30 min online and talked a couple of times on the phone...now we are going on a date tomorrow night...but I am considering canceling on him because during our last conversation he seemed concerned about my body type. On my site, I have 4 pictures...you can clearly see my face but not my body. The site makes you choose your body type and I am listed as Big&Tall/BBW. This is the truth. So I think he knows what he is getting into....but then again, he might just think I am one of those girls who is like, "Oh I'm sooo fat." and not really actually be fat. Yes, of course, if he is that shalow I don't want anything to do with him....but I just don't know if I can go through a first date and feel this huge rejection because he is disappointed in my looks! He is very cute, tall, has alot going for him....advice, please? Go ahead and meet him. Besides, even if you did have a picture that shows your full body, it doesn't necessarily mean that you will look exactly like you were in the picture. The angles and lighting change the way how you would normally look. And it's pretty common for a lot of people to lie about their sizes and height in online dating profiles. So, go meet him and just see how it goes.
I met my bf from online and at first I was not attracted by what I saw from the picture he had. But when I met him in person and got to know him more, I became attracted to his personality.

I don't see what you are so worried about. I looked at both yours and his pages, and I don't think you look big at all. I am heavy, and you looked smaller than me. But, I wouldn't cancel yet, I would chat with him again and ask him what his opinion is on voluptuous women, then go from there. A lot of men nowadays are going for heavier women. Stand Proud!

I say you should go for it, what's the worst that can happend besides rejection. If that happens then so what, at least you'll know he's not worth your time. Besided if you don't then you'll always be wondering what if, and I know you don't want that on your mind. Good luck Beautiful

id go for it. cuz in all honesty, a guy on a date isnt going to tell you to your face that youre "too fat for him". worst case, u go on the date and dont talk afterwards. u might want to give him a chance to see ur personality. it shows hes divorced...so hopefully is ex was the problem. good luck! i met my bf on pof.com :)

just be truthful and careful you dont really know who you are meeting take someone with you on the first date and tell him you are bringing someone with you and if he has a problem with that then it is better you dont pursue this guy.
