My parakeet was named Sam before he fell to the cat .
However there are thousands of good names for a bird.
Does he talk ? Mr. Beak if he bites or Mr. feathers provided it's a he . Pretty birdie is the most common name regardless of what you call it. If you feel snotty maybe wing-ed thing.
Good luck at any rate. Just don't call it copy cat.

Flicker, we had a male parakeet & named it that after the flickers on the front lawn, pretty much like woodpeckers (he was yellow & green);
or Nicki, however you want to spell it.
