It was only for a brief moment, but all of a sudden, it seemed like the race i've been wanting to see all season, when Dale Earnhardt Jr was running in first position and Martin Truex was in second. It was like it should've been that way all season. That was the best part of the race for me. It always looks like Junior knows how to work with his teammates.

i think the key statement there was...."it was only for a brief moment"...anyone can run 1 and 2 for a lap or 2. as much as i don't like him, i will be glad to see jr. get into a new ride next year....i hate what that little bi*tch stepmom has tried to do to him this year more than i don't like him.....but i guess we all need to get our hopes up at least once in a race, don't we?

Very brief...that should be in "Ripley's-Believe it or not" but later Jr. scared everyone with his 7 cylinders...no other driver might not show up for the next race...afraid of Jr....what a ha ha.....

what u didnt see on tv that i saw at the track truex got in the back of earnhardt and moved and and earnhardt got into truex going down the backstretch which more then likely screwed them bothe

While this season isn't over it will be interesting to watch how Jr. does next season with his new teamates. From what I've seen I'm sure he will work well with whomever he is teamed with.

It reminded me of Gordon and Johnson running 1st and 2nd all year long and maybe next year it will be a combination of Gordon- Johnson-Jr. running 1st-2nd -3rd all of 2008!!!

yep, i caught it too. Jr is my man, and he's such a good defensive driver, but he always falls back the last couple of laps. But hey, I'm a Junior fan, and I'll always claim that he's the best!
