Yes. Jesus is the fulfillment of that and other prophecies.
Among Jewish scholars there is a debate about whether Is. 53 refers to the Messiah or to the nation of Israel, or even about Isaiah himself.
But in the 17th Century, Rabbi Moshe Alshekh of Israel said, "Our Rabbis with one voice accept and affirm the opinion that the prophet is speaking of the King Messiah, and we shall ourselves also adhere to the same view." (Lindsay, 1974)
The Targum Jonathan, an authoritative rabbinic source of the 4th century interpreted much of Is. 53 as pertaining to the Messiah.
The idea that Is. 53 referred to the nation Israel did not begin until about the 12th century. But if Jewish people belief that, then they also must accept that there IS vicarious suffering on behalf of others...and no Jewish person I've ever spoken with has ever agreed with that, even in concept.
Is. 53 is no longer read in most synagogues.

I believe Jesus was a real man and maybe an amazing man but to say he was the son of god i refuse. It just doesnt seem possible, I am glad the guy who wrote the bible was pretty good and made it sound very good. But whence jesus dies..he did to come back to life...it doesn't happen.. Copperfield himself isnt that good
I believe that all things can be explained but we as a civilization arnt advanced enough. Eventfully i think we will be able to explain everything after we evolve more as the human race. I was raised on the morals of Karma only, without a religion and I love looking at religions from the outside because so people are so eccentric and its very interesting they way people try to justify they're beliefs and existence

Yes. Who else then if not Jesus?
No wonder if Dr Brown and Rabbi Boteach disagree about it, they are Jews, arent they? Jesus had been crucified coz the Jews didnt believe He is the messiah.

Michael Brown isn't a Jew, hes a Christian who hates Judaism and Monotheism and never answers questions.
As for Isaiah chapter 53, it has nothing to do with the Messiah, it is talking about Israel.

Crap, they are using Boteach?
Cant they use someone who knows what he is talking about? Like Rabbi Bentzion Kravitz?
Oh and if Issiah:53 is talking about Jesus then they have to deal with verse ten that says "he will see his offspring and prolong his days"--
and yes people its talking about physical Children, the word Zerah cannot be translated any differently.
So with your New Testament please pick up a copy of the Divinici Code because according to you Jesus had kids.

Jesus is the fullfillment of the prophecy in the bible and not from Isaiah alone.

Isaiah 49 explains that the suffering servant of Isaiah 53 is the nation of Israel itself. It is not a prophecy of the future.
