why i just don't get it ...i mean now he is saying a voice told him to do it ...how can anyone do this to a beautiful baby ????

its on the news...i don't know these people im just asking a question ....if i was there i would have help the baby

yeah it is crazy, but look at how many people are doing insane stuff like that these days. Just like the woman that left her baby in the car on a hot day....then said she forgot the baby was in there.....how do you just forget? My 8 month old is my life and there's nothing more important in this world to me than him....I know where he's at every minute of the day. And to knowingly put your baby in a microwave is right up there with the worst crimes imaginable.....for his punishment he should be put in a giant microwave.....an eye for an eye when it come to the abuse of children and the elderly (in my opinion)

I read this story months ago... don't tell me it happened again??? This is absolutely crazy. I feel sick to my stomach when I see things like this happen in the world. Just heard of a woman who didnt want her husband to get their children in a separation so threw her 6 or 7yr old out the window of their 5th floor apartment and was trying to get her hands on their second child when he stopped her. Sickening, truly.

I'd like to think people couldn't do this sort of thing, and call you crazy for making this up, but I know you aren't as I've seen it in the papers. One of the reasons I don't like reading the paper/watching the news as you then realise how sick and twisted some people are, and how they can destroy other people's lives along with their own.

I don't know this particular story that you're talking about, but it always sickens me the things people do to innocent infants. If he's saying "the voices told me to do it", chances are he is severely mentally ill. Sounds like schizophrenia, or even an extremely severe case of bipolar disorder. In that case, no matter how horrible it sounds, he probably just needs serious help. What disturbs me is that someone allowed someone that ill to watch an infant (if he's that ill, someone had to know).

There's been hundreds of these stories; moms drowning their children one by one in the bathtub, a mother who chopped off her baby's arms with a kitchen knife and claimed it was the result of post-partum depression, etc. People who are this ill need to be diagnosed early. Afterwards you always hear people say that they knew the person needed help but was afraid to "butt in". It's sad that we as a society are more afraid of offending someone, than being concerned with the welfare of the children in these people's custody.

Yes, there are sick and twisted people like that in this world. It's really sad. I remember over the summer, a teen mom busted her baby's head open by slamming the baby's head onto the edge of a dresser because she felt that she didn't have enough love for it. She only had enough love her for her first child. The one she killed was her second child.

I read about that. Shame ovens aren't made big enough to put him in for a 10 minute cycle. Some people are totally incapable of nurturing children, probably because of the way they were shoved aside for their parents career. That is one case where I would support total sterilization.

there are some very sick and evil people out there and really there is no excuse for his behavior. the whole hearing voices thing is just a way to get out of paying for his cruelty. perhaps a large microwave and stuffing HIM in it and turning it on would help him understand the error of his ways.....

I hear about this kind of crap going on to Innocent little babies and children that it just makes my blood boil. You're right how can someone do something so evil as to hurt these innocent little people who do nothing but look up to us to keep them save from harm.

the same way a 17 year old put her 3 month old in the dryer! (kid died she got life)It's a sick world with no one raising their kids to know right and wrong anymore!
The even sadder part is no one realizes that things like this are a wake up call!!
