Nothing...she obviously has a reason for feeling the way she does. People don't like to be pyscho-analysed or told they are wrong, so why get into that discussion. Sometimes actions speak louder than words. Trust and respect is where it's at!

BTW, if you are infatuated with this person and you're feelings are not being reciprocated, maybe it's time to move on instead of beating a dead horse. It could be a ploy to keep you at arms length (so to speak). There's someone else out there for you that will reciprocate without playing head games.

if you are dating a young lady and she tell you, she does not believe in love, i would be very careful, because there is no such thing unless she is not human. Most of the time with a situation like you find yourself in, there is someone else in the picture or that person is not ready for a steady relationship and want to play. My advice to you, stay away for awhile and see what happen. Je suis mieux, vous devez apprendre les truques du jeu.

She's probably just jaded.

Why do you want to know? If it's b/c you want to go out w/ her (or already are) then don't worry about it. If you are meant to 'work out' then she will believe again!

If it's b/c she thinks she's too young to have real love at this point, she's probably right.

Give her some space to get used to the idea before you say much of anything on that topic.

one day you will feel it.
when that day comes you will be overwhelmed so badly by that feeling.
you will regret your ignorance to love when you see that, when you fall in love, you don't know what to do.
you will see your mistakes
you will see the missed opportunities for that "someone"

well that is what i would say ;)
