I don't want the traditional "Here comes the bride". My fiance and I are both rock fans, however I don't want anything heavy because our wedding will be in a church.

I'm going down the aisle to "The String Quartet Tribute to Guns N' Roses" playing "Sweet Child O' Mine".
Of course there are many other artists that they do tributes for and I think there are actually two Gn'R string quartet tribute CDs.

Some relatives will know what it is, others won't have a clue, but it sounds wonderful.
I plan on going down the aisle in a church so I wanted something just like this - - and it sure beats having to pay musicians!!!
I'm a HUGE Gn'R fan. Please read the lyrics before picking a song.
Some excerpts from November Rain explain why it might not be a good wedding song: "When I look into your eyes I can see a love restrained"; "nothin' lasts forever And we both know hearts can change"; "But lovers always come and lovers always go An no one's really sure who's lettin' go today "

No rock music in a church ceremony. Get real! That is rediculous. Try The Wedding Song by the singer in Peter, Paul and Mary singing group, but rock? A big no no. You will cause comment and criticism and it is not at all appropriate.

November Rain - Guns N Roses would be my first pick.

I so wanted that one! We've gone for a movie theme for our music.. songs from our favourite movies. Its nice to mix it up a bit. Our introduction song is Welcome to the jungle.

Theres also Dont wanna miss a thing by Aerosmith
Bon Jovi - Always
Goo Goo Dolls - Iris
The Cure have a couple - Just like heaven and Love Song
Seether & Amy Lee - Broken
Whereever you will go - The calling
Kryptonite - 3 doors down
You shook me all night long - ACDC

I think you should really pick something that means something to you and your fiance though..
