I fail to see the difference. Nations are made up of people. The main thrust of the scripture was to "go" I do not see where the concept s are different. The message is the same.

what Jesus said to the disciples.... has to be remembered that its a concept from the Old Testament, specifically to the Jews.

God chose them to be the blessed, and be a blessing, to be the carrier of the gospel to all mankind. (people, nations, heathen, gentile, sinners) all terms are interchangeable.
