Anybody from Canada to check if this is true? or scam? see below..?

I have received this from the person below. Just want to know if this is true. or SCAM

I wish to acknowledge to you that we have received your mail and you have been granted for the post of SECRETARY with monthly Salary of $3,300 US Dollars.

I also wish to remind you as stated in the first mail that applicant are to bear the cost of immigration service.The cost and as well as processing time and every other information related to it will be determined by the immigration upon submission and acceptance of your documents.

Applicants are expected to arrive in Canada for resumption of their various position three weeks after the visas are granted.As new employee(s),the contract will be Three Years and will be extended after the three Years expired.The terms of the contract will be read and signed when you arrive.Days and hours of working are as follows:

Morning Section........................... 6.30am-2pm
Afternoon Section........................ ..2.30pm-10pm
Night Section..................................10pm-6am

You will have a day off per week and your monthly leaves will be determined by the management.

I'm not in Canada, but it certainly does sound like a scam. Especially when it is at a hotel, they need your passport & photo, and won't have a website until the next day? It sounds like someone wants to get your personal info & run... just my gut feeling on this.

The letter is a scam if you cannot confirm the location of the personnel manager in the said hotel with given telephone numbers.

This is truly SCAM because no body hire a worker outside the country for this low monthly salary.They don't mention how Visa will process and when you get your Visa or work permit.Be care full.

I seem to remember something about this in the paper being a scam. However , you might be wise to contact www.servicecanada.ca or 1-800-OCanada and ask them.

Did you apply for any kind of job as a secretary before receiving the email in question.

Sounds good to me. The fact that you never sent them a email shouldn't stop you from sending them what ever they ask.You sure are lucky.
