i'm kindof having a little (ok a large) guy problem. i am a freshman (im 14) in my high school. i like a senior(he's 17). i really do like him, he's very funny and really smart. he's even a little bit cute! the only problem is he is really shy, so i dont know if he's sending me signs too or not. he smiles at me evertime he sees me in school, and he sends me facebook messages at least 2-3 times a day. ive only known him for a few months, and i dont know if i should make the first move or not. PLEASE HELP!!

erm..yea i probably should have added the fact that his family is catholic (so am i) but they take it really seriously...his brother is at college to become a priest. so i dont think i have to worry about him trying to do anything. besides, he's a bit of a nerd..but a cute one!

yeah u should definetly make the first move, because if hes shy , he might never make the move and you'll go through the rest of highschool thinking what if i did make the first move. you should u know be more flirty with him or be more open with him and after a while you should ask him how he feels about you and then tell him how u feel id say just be like " you know , we've known eachother for a while and im starting to like, you know more than a friend, i duno but do u feel like that too" hope this helps!<3

If a shy guy smiles everytime he sees you there is obvously an attraction there. Sometimes shy guys do need a little probing so ask him a casual question. Like if he's doing anything this weekend etc. and see what he says. My guess is that he'll say yes and be more than relieved that he didn't have to ask you.

Hey, that is not a problem at all! I suggest you should send him messages back and flirt with him whenever you get a chance, give him all the "signs" possible, but you shold wait until he makes the move.

if hes taking the time to send you messages 3 times a day, he likes you. but if he hasn't made the first move yet he's never going to. so you have to do it. go up to him in school and ask him if he wants to hang out sometime.
good luck

I am going to give you three rules that always apply to guys. They work. Believe me. Abide by them.
1. Ignore everything guys say and pay attention to what they do.
2. Don't play games. Say what you mean and mean what you say. Be honest.
3. Learn to love and accept yourself or you'll never be able to truly love and accept another human, especially a guy. Guys like girls who know who they are and are happy about it.
They're pretty simple rules.
Good luck!

Sounds like he likes you. If you like him back and are cool with the age difference then I say go for it. Take it slow. See what happens.
But make sure you set ground rules... older guys can have different priorites... if/when you reach that point make sure he know what you will and won't do.
Have fun & be safe!

He has already made a move with Facebook. Approach him and ask him to go somewhere with you. Something casual. He is shy so go slow.
