My daughter wore braces for over two years and she said that they are mostly uncomfortable. The only time they truly hurt was when she went to the orthodontist to get them tightened. Then they would hurt for a few days afterwards. So much so, she couldn't chew food.

when i had braces, i didn't have an expander. but im sure its very uncomfortable. but i would think that the braces hurt more, because they are moving your teeth more.

People have told me that braces hurt more, altthough expanders were harder ot get used to and more uncomfortable.

certainly not! you do not prefer to wind up in my place, the place yet another 15 years down the line you're regretting not having them. i'm getting mine in some month, and that i in my opinion wish i could had them executed while i became into youthful... communicate approximately being the sole one you be attentive to with them :)
