Tell her you don't think you have chemistry or that you two are not compatible. Be clear.

Wow that's a hard one. No body likes rejection. I'm sorry to say this but pretty much any way you word it shes going to be hurt. Just don't act like you pity her what ever you do. Let her down as gently as possible.
You can 1) Tell her the truth. 2) Tell a white lie, like : I know this person who has a crush on you, I couldn't date you because I know this other person would be bumbed (don't say who). Or tell her your seeing someone else. Or that you have a big crush on someone else.

To ask a question like this shows you have a heart and a good one at that. You are not a user, you realoy are concerned about her feelings and to me that is a REAL man. Rejection is always hard and no one enjoys it. Tell her good things about her and assure her that she would be great to be with but that you are not ready for anything serious yet. It shouldn't tear her heart out since your not telling her she's the problem.

Take her out somewhere and give her a shot. You might find something you like and change your mind. It's an opportunity you might someday regret passing. If no chemistry, just thank her for the datem tell her the chemistry isn't there and tell her you hope she can find another.

Just be honest! She may be hurt at first but she will appreciate it in the long run! Nobody likes to look like a fool...

You have to be kind and compassionate, because she's going to cry on you.
It's best to tell her that you aren't interested in her as a romantic interest, just like that.
Good luck

Sorry,I am really flattered, but I am not interested in a relationship right now. Just be honest and nice. I suppose you could always use the old standby let down..."I just want to be friends."

let her down easy, but don't say "let's just be friends" if you don't mean it!!
say something along the lines of, ", I'm flattered and all, but i don't like you that way. you're a girl, but...*blahblahblah".
kind of vague, but hope that helps. good luck & don't forget to be a gentleman. [:

Tell her, gently, that you don't naturally feel that way about her. And that perhaps, some day, you might wish that you did.
It's never easy. Good luck!

NO, i agree... thats how honesty works. none of that "just friends" stuff... we all know its a lie. just friends just means that possibilities are open, which gives false hopes to one side of the deal.
