It takes 2 years for a person to truly know someone else. The definition of true love is accepting a person for everything they are and everything there are not. 6 months isnt long enough. trust me

Unless your both in a hurry to start a family, I recommend taking a little more time. I'm not saying your feelings are not real, but it sounds like you have not spent much time together if you are out of the country. I would recommend at the very least another year after you get back. Get to know each other really well. The divorce rate is high enough in this country, no sense rushing into things. Take your time, I guarantee you won't regret it.

Aww.. so sweet but I hate to tell you the first year is always la la land until the romance is kinda out. Give it another year and see if you like all her flaws and can stand be around her 24/7, then u'l know she's the one for you. I think that b/c you guys are away from each other almost all the time it makes you can't wait to be with her when you come home but when you're with her 24/7 and leave for a few minutes and still can't wait to be by her side then that's it, she's the one...

wait how old are you? if you are flying, you might be in the high 20s and low 30s, i would say. well i think you should ask her as soon as possible when you have free time to go out. if you don't have free time, work first, then get a vacation form your job and tell her that you want to marry her.
if you don't think that your gf is not ready give her space, and patiently wait several more months. make sure you keep expressing your feelings to her.

Give her something to really look forward to when you are finally home for good. It will give her something to do while youre still away. She can start thinking about everything (girls love planning out weddings) When youve found the one, Youve found the one. It doesnt matter how long youve been dating, you just know shes the one. Go for it. If she loves you enough to stay with you during all the traveling youre doing, She'll love you enough to say YES! Go For It Lover Boy!!

6 months isn't very long... I would wait another 6 months to a year before considering popping the question. What's the big rush? If your happy in your relationship then take it slow and enjoy it! Marriage isn't a race..

that dude up there already said it, wait another 6 months. At least make it a year. It would be kinda cool to ask on your anniversary. You gotta move in together sometime soon though.

Do you know she feels the same way about you? I'd wait a while anyway. 6 months isn't that long especially since you see her only "every so often".

Definately need to live with her first. It changes everything. I was dating my wife for a year before I asked her and lived with her for about five months.
