You will most likely get sick within 30 minutes if you have an acute reaction, within 6-8 hrs. for food poisoning. If it was in the fridge it is probably though not fresh, ok. Doesn't sound like you ingested enough to harm you. You aren't gonna die from this...the worst would be throw up, feel horrible for awhile, maybe diarrhea.

Don't panic! I use to worry a lot when I was young..OMG it was awful. If you just use a little common sense you will make the right choices and be ok. Put a little faith in yourself, and don't become a nervous wreck, over reacting will make you fraze and make yourself sick without cause. I use to call my mother all the time....from the rodeo, from camp, from across the Pacific....you can't tell me panic....but I learned it did me no good. Yes, it is easier said than done...but well worth the effort of a little changing on how you "choose" to react. Once I ate some jalapenos.....afterwards these guys tell me Oh we didn't' eat any because the can lid had a poof and we wondered if it would have botulism....AHHHH oh frazed, you can't image frazed! I was waiting to see double cause that was one of the symptoms.....It just takes so much energy to live this way, I exhausted myself. Get yourself right with God and you won't have to worry about the dying issue either. Save yourself a life of misery.....really...think about it. You will be ok.....

If the fish was previously cooked then the worst thing you're looking at is eating food that had already spoiled. this is much like drinking spoiled milk. If you're going to get sick it'll probably happen within the next 30 minutes or so. Worst case you puke it up--which is good or you'll have diarrhea. If you have really really dark poop that's a sign you have some kind of "food poisoning" but your body is getting rid of it.

If the fish was uncooked and you ate it then you're talking a higher likelhood of salmonella. Again, you're going to be able to tell that pretty fast. A few bites of some bad fish may at worst give your a little tummy ache. but your body should clense itself naturally. you'll be fine. if you still feel bad after a couple hours you may want to see a doctor.

Relax. Breathe. Don't call 911. You wont die from it. Your body will take care of it on it's own. It will pass. If you are healthy normally, there shouldnt be a problem; maybe a sour stomach. FYI your stomach and whole GI system is full of good bacteria that helps sort of block bad bacteria from doing damage. (that's really what's in yogurt). Keep in mind that throughout history there wasnt always refrigeration. Spices such as salt was developed so humans could tolerate eating a little spoiled meat. If everyone died from everything they ate that was spoiled or not right, there would be no one around. God did give you an immune system. However, do keep in mind that Handwashing is always a good idea.

You probably have nothing to worry about -- for the most part -- people who are typically healthy can fight off a number of infections. If, in the next few days, you develop diarrhea or vomiting (which isn't related to being anxious about eating from the wrong bowl), then go to the E.R.

It'll be okay...!
There's a chance you'll get food poisoning, but that's not life-threatening, just uncomfortable (and if you do have it and throw up a lot, you might need to go to the hospital because you might have lost a lot of fluids.) There are some other things that could happen, so look here: http://www.emedicinehealth.com/food_poisoning/page3_em.htm#Food%20Poisoning%20Symptoms
