are faced with here? And how brave they are when they can report somebody (who happens to disagree with them) anonymously?

If the report(er) is annonomous, how do you know it's a fundie?

seriously I answer the questions that I think I can, and leave other questions for others to answer. Of course there are tough questions... both spiritualy and in the physical life.
For example - I know alot about first aid, but could not answer a question about the best way to give CPR to an infant, so I will leave that question to someone else.
I know alot about cooking, but I don't know how to make creme broule, so I will leave that to John O LOL

Hey, I know alot about my faith, but I don't know everything. No one knows all the answers. If they claim to - they are liars. And it matters not if they are believers or agnostic. NO one knows all the answers.

blessings :)

Well,I have answered a few tough ones and don't report or block anyone ever, for any reason....I also do not send hate filled e-mails and have only received one myself, in the period of one year...(and that from a very confused Christian boy who missunderstood an answer that I had given)..

I suppose your question is directed at all who are "gutless" and practice blocking and reporting those who disagree with them....or are you singling out Christian Fundamentalists?

I don't know who you are including with your term "fundies" if you are using it to describe all christians then I would say that I have seen both very articulate and also very uninlightened responces to every kind of religious question. The same can be said of the non religious on here. There are both well thought out pointed arguments and intolerant hate-speech.

As far as having your question removed, the Yahoo! guidlines are pretty simple; No profanity, nothing that is solely designed to personally attack another member, and no hate-speech. In short it can be summarized as ;

"No cussing and don't be a jerk!"

If your question was removed it violated one of the two maxims above.

I think it interesting you complain that it is the fundamentalists who have taken over to get questions removed on Answers. To hear them tell it they are the ones being unfairly abused by "Liberal" Yahoo! Answers. Who, if either, is right I wonder...

Is any answer "gutless" that fails to agree with your ideas? What constitutes a "tough" question? And btw- I agree with what you say about people who report others simply because they disagree with them. But it doesn't only happen to non-Christians, and I can vouch for that.

Just because you either don't understand the answer, or you don't like the answer, does not mean that they were gutless when it comes to answering what you perceive to be the really hard questions.

And, by the way, if it is anonymous, how do you know who it is that does the reporting?

I have honestly never seen any tough questions posted here, maybe a bunch of stupid questions, and I only report people who vulgarly attack others, it does not have anything to do with I agree with the person or not.

Yes, I think that both are fair assessments. People here generally are not asking the bible to explain itself, so when someone asks a good Ark question, or how the slaughter of women children and babies in Jericho was justified, or why "god" made incest necessary twice, or any number of other questions, they don't want scripture as an "answer", because it is no answer. And as for the second part of your question, I think there is very little debate about the accuracy of your characterization.

Well, Howdy Doodey......who rattled your cage? I'm not gutless but I just cannot tolerate a fool! If you want to sincerely know the answer, I will answer anything but you must ask intelligent questions.

I don't report people.... I do even worse to them....I ignore them.

I am not gutless. At least I don't think so. And I think disagreements are what keeps it interesting. I have yet to report anyone
