how many out here are really in a great relationship? i feel there is no love out here. i am beginning to give up on finding love. it seems the world has become shallow.

hey bluesun, i know for a fact that true love is out there, sometimes you just have to stop looking for it before it falls into your lap. i too agree that the world has become shallow. in todays day and age so many are out to just make a buck that they don't really sit back and try to enjoy the world, while a bunch of the others have been hurt before and they trust no one. I have a friend that believes "love the least, never get hurt". I don't agree with her but she's never been hurt well except for once when she did love the most. i know that you are young and have a big heart and one day you will find true love, just don't rush it, it will come to you. i know i have found my soul mate. I'm one of the lucky ones. good luck.

I have chills going up my spine because this is a type of deja vu almost. See I was where you are now last year and I was in a relationship that was not real love. Then a child I was babysitting started toi tell me something about a movie or TV show, I don't know. All I remember hearing was "3 days to prove that love exists." So I left it up to fate and did nothing to influence him, waiting to see if my boyfriend would do anything to prove that he loved me in that span of time. Well he didn't. I eventually broke up with him and started dating guys with no intention of ever believing in, much less falling in love again. But guess what? 3 months ago I by chance alone met a guy that made me feel like a silly schoolgirl whenever he was around (I am 41 yrs. old) we came together in strange circumstances but we both have passed that "3 days to prove" test and we will probably be together forever. So don't you give up hope but don't pull the wool over your eyes: any love worth living is a love that can pass a test or two.

honestly yeah i think it does exist, yes it hurts looking for it but i think if you have suffered through all those that wasnt true love then it will be worth it at the end. Dont give up man, if you need someene to talk to just talk to me on messenger. ill be there for you like you were for me. 9 out of 10 arent true love but once you find that 1 it will be perfect and you will be glad you never gave up.

it does sometimes you just have to let go of your preconceptions and accept that someone you never thought you be with is someone so special that you would do anything to keep them ---- best wishes
