All you need is a family care plan. Someone to take care of your children when you are away. If not, when you are deployed and do not have someone to become your child's guardian, you have the possibility of being discharged.

If you are a single parent with a child in your custody, then I believe you are required to have a plan for who your child stays with if you are deployed. The military is unlikely to be very sympathetic if you claim you can't be deployed because there is no one to take care of your child.
There may be some exceptions if there are unusual circumstances (child has serious medical problems or something) where you could possibly get a hardship discharge.
You should probably talk to a JAG officer (the Army's lawyers) about this. But I don't think your gonna have a lot of options.

Deployments do not come that regularly, counting on the pastime. it really is regularly a 9 to 5 pastime and each and every year, they earn 30 of paid vacation. If someone is prepared to spend months faraway from their relations in order to furnish them a sturdy existence, it really is authentic love. you need to sacrifice some issues in order to ensure your toddlers thrive. women are not ineffective, we would nicely be both an brilliant moms and dads for our youngsters. and in no way all and distinctive contained in the protection stress kills, my husband's an airplane electrician.

absolutely. No free passes just because you are a single parent.
Oh yeah, and if you are not currently in,. as a single parent you are ineligible to enlist. You may not give up custody to enlist and you may not regain custody back during your first term of enlistment.
