Depends on what you mean by "come on to" and it depends on the girl. If it was a girl I had been friends with for years, and I saw real potential, I would pursue her till I felt it clear she wasn't interested.

However it would take some pretty big signs of possibility for me to go after her.

geez, that's tough. I can be very persistent when properly motivated...have a hard time taking "no" for an answer---but if I am turned down very firmly and politely, it's over. If the door is left open, even just a crack, I do not take no for an answer. It's up to her to shut the door...

Once is enough, from that point she knows I am interested.
I do not need to remind her, and if she is interesed she will say something to that effect.

Once, I don't beg anyone for anything ever. If she denys me which usually never happens I would just ignore her.
