i'm an atheist. there's nothing i would change about it as i am happy with my life. i'm alive, i've got great friends, my mom is awesome, my little brother is awesome, and i'm doing well for myself as well as doing what i can to help my mom with her health needs and giving back to my community. so despite the bs they keep putting into social studies text books, i'm not in need of a religion in order to keep me happy. albeit, it's great to have others you can associate with who are on the same wavelength as yourself, it really isn't an absolute need in order to progress survival. food before comfort. that is innate to all of our survival. i don't feel like being an @sshole; so i will thank you for your sentiments and leave you with one of mine. like i tell my mom: who needs religion, when we've got each other.

I am Wiccan.
I love connecting with and honoring the Divine in male/female polarity, as God and Goddess. I love the Wiccan Rede -- "If you harm none, do what you will". I love the principle that God/dess is in every breath we take and every beat of our heart, that the universe is Their living body and that separation from Them is impossible. I love the fact that most Wiccans believe that all religions are correct to their adherents and that all religions are potentially valid paths to the Divine.
If I could, I'd cut down on the "fluffy bunnies" who keep invading and cheapening what is a very serious and profoundly spiritual faith to the rest of us. By that I do NOT mean people who are new to Wicca; I mean the people who insist on being airheads and not taking the religion at all seriously.

I've already changed religions a couple of times: I was raised Christian and was an atheist for several years before becoming Wiccan. I don't see myself changing religions again in the near future.

I'm atheist which isn't a religion. You can't really change anything about atheism since it doesn't have a set of defined rules or doctrines. Would I ever convert? Doubt it. I'd consider believing in god given substantial proof though.

Well I WAS a hardlined Atheist, but then after a few acid, salvia, and mushroom trips, I think that our consciousness is just an extension of a universal energy that we all come from. Not a being but a pure energy. My fellow trippers(lol) think so too. And I think that's what happens when you die. It's awesome if you experience it. When it happens you know in your heart that it's what happens, but it's a psychedelic substance, so there's no telling how trusting it is.

What I like/dislike/want to change about my religion is intensely personal. I don't feel the need to damn others for not believing the same as me, nor do I feel the need to bring them into my circle of belief.
And, yes, to the second question. I was raised Christian and am now Buddhist.
Love to you, as well. =)

i don't have a 'religion'-i am a Christian. i read something that expressed pretty closely what i believe about religion: "religion is humans trying to work their way to God. Christianity is God coming to men and women through a relationship with Jesus Christ"

I'm somewhere between an agnostic and a deist. Sometimes I wish that whether or not God exists could be known, but I'm pretty accepting of the fact that it can't.
