can our regs here give him a big hug also

you call yourself what you wish darling , just because there are some people in your faith that make you ashamed to be associated with them... doesnt mean you have to give up what you are
those of us who are regulars here , know to seperate the extremists from the peaceful people who just want to believe what they believe

for anyone who doesnt know what has just happened

for those of you who claim what is happening in Cali right now is Gods wrath , this is what your judgemental attitude is doing to people of your own faith
if Christianity suffers in numbers in a few years time , you only have yourself to blame

((thanks))

This doesn't change who I am but that is the proverbial straw the broke the camel's back. I'm simply dumping the label that has become tainted a bit too much these days.

Not all are like that, I know. They are the few and unfortunately mostly quiet and compassionate types. They will go and help I'm sure of it.

But some do not say anything however because In silence they agree in the depths of their hearts. They say yep, probably true.

I'm filled with an anger that will subside but my impressions will not. This is just one too many and truly it is not just here in R&S, that is everywhere now. Look at groups like Westboro, you here about them but there are more and more like them. Maybe not as outspoken but in spirit.

Such venom and spite. I cannot stand it.

Funny how the violation notices start.

I wouldn't worry about Christianity being torn apart - our God created EVERYTHING we can see and can't see - our God is much bigger than any of us actually know. Our God knows the truth about all His creation He has everything under control - so you have no need to worry that Christianity will suffer in numbers. Revelation TV ( Rodney Howard Brown )is showing daily how many people are accepting Christ Jesus as their Saviour and Lord - the souls being saved are thousands - God is drawing ppl in to the truth b/c we are most certainly in the end times and it's the Fathers will that none should perish. The word of God says -
"By Their Fruits You Will Know Them" this applies to all God's ppl - and is a good indicator as to who is walking closely with their God - walking in the light.......
There are always going to be ppl with strong opinions like the ones you have highlighted - judge for yourself if they speak the truth or not. Personally i find what some have said extremely distasetful but also mislead - if this was God's judgement there would be nothing left of California - He does not do things by half measures - He brings things to nought, nothing, clears the place , if you get my meaning. The other thing i feel some ppl are missing --- God's judgement comes to the CHURCH first before the world - and this is the scary thing - oh yes God will judge His church first - (Christians & all who believe in Him) so i think we can say what's happening with the fires in California is not His judgement - maybe we could look at it and see a picture of what's to come - but if God wanted to set this whole planet ablaze He most certainly could and as the word tells us He will do just that - so maybe He is looking to get our attention on this one - whatever He's doing i pray for America and God's will there -- Oh Lord God and heavenly Father of all creation have mercy on us this day - have mercy Lord God we pray.

Sadly there are always 'believers' who will speak out such things, BUT the Truth of the matter is that either these awful fires have started by accident OR by an evil person who chose to start them for their own reason!

Many people asked where God was in 9/11 and the best answer that I saw in print was "God was in every man and woman who went into those buildings and who were on those airoplanes, who laid down their lives so that others might live!"

GOD IS IN THE PEOPLE WHO ARE PUTTING THEIR OWN LIVES AT RISK TO BRING THOSE FIRES UNDER CONTROL AND TO RESCUE PEOPLE!

That is The God that I know, love and serve!

I pray that these fires will be brought under control quickly and people can be helped to bring their lives back to normality as quickly as is possible!

Please don't blame God for the 'MOTORMOUTHS' around, He Gave us ALL free will and sadly some DON'T always think about the devestating results of what comes out of their mouths!

it is true their is a difference between extreamist and moderate (soto speak) believers that on some occasions are escewed by a small minority posting questions which annoy and then leads to the moderates being targeted as the same.
unfortunetly everyone of a certain belief system whether moderate or extream views go under the same banner as christistian/muslim/what ever so sometimes it can be difficult to tell apart when the question is or can be similare.

emp dude ... chill they are fools that take things far. Let them call their own retribution. You seem pretty kewl, form what I have seen (granted its not alot)

odd I so far havent heard anything of an extremist notion coming from or about buddism so far.

weird.
Some christians aand the rest are a bit flakey.
Others are fine people with nice beliefs that only really put forward the standards of morality they are expect ot uphold.

meh.

I saw it and I feel sick about his hate. He was gleeful about the suffering of others. I posted my total disgust for his question, and I think I might just send him an email. Good thinking, Zapp. If ever there would be a time to gang report someone, this might be the time.

I'm of the mind that nobody is actually that cruel or stupid, Pangel. No...I believe that they think it's outrageous to say such things that they would never say to someone face to face because they are basically cowards who thrive on anonymity... I mean - YOU should know....look what happened to that "Chosen By Grace" monster. We pulled back the covers on his antics and POOF - he went away.

I'll join you in giving Emperor Insania a ((((((hug)))))).

If more Christians were like him, Christianity wouldn't have such an image problem.
