The God of the Muslims is the same as the God of the christians

First of all, is there a hidden differentiation in your question: GOD of the Christians vs, God of the Muslims?
A not-so-well-hidden Muslim precept is, quite literally, 'kill the infidel.' This doubtless dates back to the early (and, perhaps, not so early) interpretations of the Koran, so-o-o, there would seem to be an inate hatred and distrust of non-Muslims. That would seem to jive somewhat with Christianity, particularly during the Cathlic Church's reign of terror in the Middle Ages, i.e., persuasion with the sword, and threats of 'hell' if you don't believe in the 'true' God.
To answer the question, since the definition of 'God' seems to accommodate the temper of the times, who the hell knows? Maybe 'yes' today and 'no' tomorrow. It's really a matter of what the individual person wants to believe.

No, not the same. John 14:6 - Jesus preached that the only way to have access to God (Yahweh) was through him. Allah requires no mediator Son. In fact, Jesus' deity is entirely rejected by Islam. He is viewed as nothing more than a great prophet (which is an oddity in itself since he proclaimed a belief contrary to Islam). So, either Jesus is lying here, mistaken, or is telling the truth. If he's lying or mistaken, then Christianity falls apart, which would mean the God Christ proclaimed is also faulty. This would be contrary to Islam, Allah is hardly viewed as a faulty or false God. Furthermore, if Jesus is telling the truth, then Allah cannot be Yahweh because Jesus' divine nature/presence isn't necessary in order to have access to worship Allah which as stated in John 14:6 was an absolute requirement for Yahweh.

Previous post uses Scripture inaccurately. John 14:16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— 17the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[c] in you.

This verse does not at all foretell Muhammad, but instead the Holy Spirit. John 14:25 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

For those who answered yes: you're not thinking hard enough
For those who answered no: you're not true to facts or to yourself, and are probably brainwashed since you were born.
Why? Because we only know FOR SURE that God is a creation of man. Yes, I do believe that man is the creation of God, but honestly, I do not know FOR SURE. WHO DOES?! No, I'm not denying God. But wasn't Jesus a person too? At least, he was in human form. Well, after his death, can anyone verify that he ascended to heaven? I mean, I believe that, but did anyone SEE It happen? No. His body may have not been found for many reasons. Just because something's underground doesn't mean it can't come up again right? And of course people are gonna argue that the two gods are different, simply because of their beliefs. Or, for atheists they're gonna say they're the same--imaginary.

The One God of the Jews, Christians and Muslims

I think the Muslims' Allah as the supreme, one God, creator of all things is the same God the Jews and Christians worship, (The God of Abraham) but they interpret their other beliefs differently because of what Mohammed taught them. I think of Jews, Chistians and Muslims as religious cousins.

Yes, Yes, Yes and he is the same God of the Jews. Actually He founded the Jewish religion and his name is Satan. The God of Moses, "I am, that I am" is Satan. He has deceived the whole world and the Christians simply adore him, Satan has made the United States the most riches country in the world, but as he did to Moses, God hears you knockin but you can't come in, so come on down, to my place.

There's only one God!

If I'm not totaly out there (I could very well be), I believe they believe in the God of Abraham but they are not from the line of Jacob. So they are not part of the people God chose to represent him on earth though they would like to think so.
they are the brothers of Israel. They also do not believe that Jesus is the mesiah of God.
