to all those people who think that 5 colors are too much i think your nuts.i always have people telling me that i should have like 3 colors in my room.Let me ask you a question do you only have 3 colors in your room????????do you????one color would go for my walls, one(or 2)for my bedspread and the rest for pillows(i love pillows )and accessories. So do you think i still have too many colors in my room????

and they wouldn't be neon walls, and i'm sorry but the only reason i'm being defensive is because i have people tell me ALL THE TIME that i need to have like 3 colors i my room, but i'm a person with multiple personalities to me so i can just decide on 3 different mes(i hoped that made sense)

OK, don't ask for opinions if you are going to get all defensive about the answers.
Do I think you have too many colors? Probably yes, but I haven't seen your room. Post a pic, please.
Yes, I do have two-three colors in my rooms, along with some prints that include those colors. I have ivory [ neutral ] carpets, and either blue, green, and yellow, or combo of two.
Tell us what part of your room is each color, so we can make informed choices.

Sure that sounds like fun. But one thing... a little piece of advice that was given to me. When picking out colors for a room, don't pick anything that if you got sick would make you feel worse. Such as like if you had a stomach virus you wouldn't necessarily want to be staring a neon Orange walls. 8)

my room has blue wall, yellow cabinet, brown floor and white electronics.
i think the most 3 colors are only right for suit, how can a room only 3 colors??
but you should keep a main color, including wall, floor. and a submain color, including curtains, fitment. at last, the decorating ornaments can be colorful, fiting the main colors.
this site have many beautiful decorating pictures for your ref.

I totally agree that you don't have too many colours! Who wants a boring, two colour room. there is no way you can express yourself with a limit like that, I think those colours would go beautifully together, just make sure that they are all the same kind of colour, like pastel or bold. Good luck.

Three colors of paint, walls, trim, ceiling. Add in your other colors coordinating the quilt and the blinds, etc. The quilt and blinds, or drapes will give you an unending possibility of colors to display.

sounds like a circus. I'd narrow those colors down a bit.

You shouldn't care what we or others say. If you like it and it is for your room - - go for it. They are pretty colors & should go together nicely.
