How do you release a trigger point knot? I have one I can reach but don't know how to massage it out.

I know it is a trigger point: I have had many years ago massaged out by a skilled massuse.

Suggestions?

To get a trigger point to relax there are two things you can do:
One is to simply hold pressure on it until it releases.
The other is to massage it in the same direction (not back and forth) about 15 times in a row. More than this can bruise the muscle. The pressure applied should hurt, but not so bad that you can't stand it. Do this routine two or three times a day and it will give total relief usually within two weeks or less.
Good health to you!!!

Suggest you get a skilled person to massage it out, they are trained to do just this.
