I was on track and had been for about two months, but then went away for a early-holiday, family reunion type thing, and over-indulged on all the food that seemed to be constantly lying around.
What do I do so that it doesn't show up? Obviously I get back on track but, what are some things I can do to ease what I've already eaten?

Just go back to your track - no big deal as long as it doesn't keep going.
