Only if you workout while standing on your head.
You know you can't grow up if you're upside down.

No, lifting weights will not stunt your growth. This myth has been passed around by well-meaning but misinformed people, but there is no scientific or medical evidence to back it up. The only time lifting weights is harmful is if you're using bad form or weight that is well beyond your capabilities. Find a certified personal trainer, or at least an experienced adult, to show you how to perform the lifts correctly and safely, and that's how you'll get the greatest gains without injuring yourself. Another teen doing it with you is just asking for trouble.

actually things can stunt your growth like coffee or steroids. If you lift at a young age it stuntsyour growth. that is only a myth and no one can really determine if it is true or not. I am 17 and i have been lifting daily and i have been growing slowly but surely. It is most likely a myth but if you are an athlete and lift a lot you want to stay away from pop and caffine.

As the person under me said, workin' out won't stress your growth. And as she said anabolic steriods will. BUT, liftin' too much, too many times, will stunt this process. There are many other ways to stay in shape, be fit, or build some muscles to show off to the ladies when you playin' ya sport, such as push-up, and what-not.
Hoped this helped ya =)

If you work out in general; no it won't stunt your growth. But if you overwork your body then it might effect your growth rate. Just don't strain your muscles hard and you'll be fine. =)

working out will not stunt your growth, using steroids will. Stay away from anabolic steroids and you should grow without problems.

working out can be and is a healthy choice.
But if you over do it then things might get bad.
Remember that keeping your self in shape is great but when you are to in shape you become the opisite..
And no for the most part.
