I don't own a 2 hybrid yet, but I'm in the process of choosing one and have demoed them extensively. I find them comfortable (I do have a 3 hybrid already), and especially helpful in the longer clubs (2, 3, 4 iron or hybrid) because they are so forgiving for slightly off-center or poorly hit shots.

To me, it feels more like a wood than an iron when using a 2, but again I'm very happy with the results I've seen.

My 3 hybrid goes about 180-190 in the air, depending on conditions. The 2's I've tried go about 200-205. Good luck.

I recently purchased a new set of clubs with both 1 and 2 hybrid and they seem easy to hit. Nothing weird about them. Distance wise i'm not really sure because i'm still learning how to hit them. I would have to say the 1 seems to hit about 150 yards for me.

I love my hybrids. I have problems with my drive so I often find myself pulling out the hybrids. I don't even carry my two iron anymore.

I have a cleveland 2i 19 degrees and average distance I get from it is about 185 to 190 yards. Cleveland's 1i is 15 deg (i think) but havent tried it yet.

Hybrid is easy to hit and you can hit it like your irons and it is easy to get the ball up.

I have the 16 degree Ping G5, which is a two iron. I love it. It gives me the distance I need between my three wood and 3 iron. It also allows me to play from rough and sand (if I am not buried in too deep).

Fefe, you again. I use both. They are so easy to hit. Much easier than a 2 or 3 iron. MUCH EASIER! I promise you they are much easier to hit. Put them in your bag. You won't regret it. As far as distance, there is no fear from 200 yards anymore. NONE!

i use both, but i rarely carry the 1H because i hit it the same distance as my 4-wood. I use a unique club setup which is another story....
