Here you guys are in a land of plenty, with so much education to offer that you can pick and choose what you will and won’t learn. How do you think African kids feel when they see you act like spoiled brats who won’t eat their vegetables?

That is why CHRISTIANS, more than any other group, provide charitable relief for food, medicine, housing and EDUCATION to poverty stricken people around the world.
When was the last time YOU provided any help to these African children? Or are they still just hypothetical in your mind?

At least you have a point, which is why I embrace my education and get really pissed off about kids wanting a new iPod and hating their parents for not getting them it, even if the got the second-to-new one LAST FRIGGING WEEK! But I'm not Christian... anyway, one of my goals is to go to college and get a job and get enough money to bring over orphans from around the world to study in the U.S., or in the U.K. if the U.S. fails in the next 10 years or so (which it prolly will)

Yes there is a hunger for the truth of the Gospel in Africa. they are coming to Christ by the thousands in Africa . And not only in Africa but China, India, Burma , Iraq, and everywhere there is suffering. The poor, the blind the lame , the hungry and the rejected are coming to Jesus because his truth and mercy gives them hope where there is no hope. And yes, here we sit fat and spoiled and curse the God who blessed this country beyond belief. God blessed America because of the righteous Christian forefathers who founded this great country on Biblical judeochristian principals. Secular humanistic atheists dont want to hear this but it is the truth. Repent America, the Lord Jesus Christ is returning soon. There is still time to accept the free gift of pardon purchased with the blood he shed on the cross for the sins of the whole world. Come to Christ!!!

not all Christians are like that. the Christians in the suburbs who give their child anything they want to keep them quite are the spoiled brats. my Church believes in giving what you can. if you have something that you don't use give it away and if you see someone in need of what you do have give it to them because their need may be greater than yours. also some Christians are aware of the kids that are in need in Africa that's why they go over there to help relive them.

I'll tell you how African kids would feel, they would feel broken and beg for a small piece of bread and praise the God for little things. They would feel guilty that God is not helping them because maybe they are sinful, they don't know how, they are uneducated or don't know exactly. OR they would doubt the justice of the Lord.
Sorry for my loud answer, but the situation there is just awful and miserable.

If they are seeing us, how? Maybe they should be buying books for an education instead of televisions! Yours is another feel guilty question. I bet you haven't even been to Africa. If you do feel this way you might buy some books and go teach instead of laying guilt on others.
