Fefe, they are the same thing. A rescue club is a hybrid. Hybrids come in more than one loft. I have a 1 hybrid which is 16 degrees a 2 hybrid which is 18 degrees and a 3 hybrid which is 21 degrees. They go up to 30 degrees in loft I believe.

They are the same thing, just said in a different way. It's like saying a sand wedge and a sand iron; in the end it is the same club. Secondly, hybrids come in many different lofts.

2 hybrid 17 degrees
3 hybrid 19-20 degrees
4 hybrid 21-22 degrees
5 hybrid 24-26 degrees

first guy is right...but 'Rescue' is the name the TaylorMade came up with for a hybrid because you could play it out of the rough and get a fair amount of distance. I love my 'rescue' TM 19*
