Why are human skin colored slightly brown around the anal opening?

I am one hundred percent serious about this question. I have wondered about this for quite some time, and I think it's really disturbing that we, as humans, have no idea why it's like that.

Lets assume it is genetic. In that case, why would we, after millions of year with evolution, have that hue?

What a question....
maybe because your skin is more concentrated and shriveled up in that area, to accommodate difering sizes of poop so it looks darker when its closed. I don't know...
like a balloon looks darker when its not inflated

tannic acid in some foods like coffee and tea are expelled and dye the skin opening as it leaves.
