It is the extremist fundies. They only want "deep spiritual questions that ponder the mysteries of God" here. lol

And they should just leave the Princess alone. She is the Princess after all. :)

Well, if the questions about Chuck Norris are religious (or spiritual) and not about movies or athletic events, then they belong here. I may call it silly, but then probably lots of things sound silly to others. We haven't banned the Flying Spaghetti Monster or the Invisible Pink Unicorn (although I'm still working on how you know it's pink if it's invisible), so I guess we can't ban CN.

But of course, we users don't really ban anything. There's no real justification for reporting it as a violation of Community Guidelines, so the most anyone can do is register their disapproval by (a) not answering a question you find stupid, (b) giving a thumbs down to an answer you find inappropriate for whatever reason (short of reporting it), (c) write an answer that challenges the assumptions implicit in a question . . . well, you get the idea. Use the system.

Is anybody seriously going to argue that Chuck Norris questions don't belong in Religion and Spirituality? If so, they risk the wrath of Chuck. I'm not threatening, just pointing it out.

Guidelines?
I would say a question about Chuck Norris is more about being less than serious than it is about seeking spirituality discussions.
We can say some things probably should not be here - that's ok - maybe that respects the greater majority that don't worship Chuck.
We don't have to please everyone all the time - especially if they are off-base - that is just life.

Pangel, you are the smartest person in the world, you know that? You are my role model. Won't go so far as to say i worship you, but I deeply admire and respect you. You're the prophetess of R&S.

And I would argue that a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick is a very spiritual experience. It'll return you to a spirit.

God worships Chuck Norris

Someone worshiping Chuck Norris is no different than someone worshiping Krishna, Buddha, or Jesus. Even they said so. The spirit is within us and not to be found in other people, ever, no matter how inspirational they may seem!

So if she wants to worship something external Chuck is as good as any other false God.

Well they obviously don't know about the Church of Chuck. Those who belong to the Church of Chuck should not be discriminated against. If Atheists can be here than so can Chuckists.

I tend to disagree. That ought to technically go in Celebrities. However, the site dedicated to the fisty chin is actually amusing, so I don't give a flying f...f...(darn, can't swear in front of you). Well, nuff said.

I've had questions reported and removed because they were about Greek Gods. Even told to "Go to the mythology category".

Apparently it's not a "real" religion or even a spiritual persuit.

I wonder what Athena and Hecate have to say about that?
