LMAO!!!!!
I am having the SAME problem. All 5 of mine are standing in the doorway LOOKING at the yard. The sad part is 4 of them are Labs for heavens sake.
Honestly, eventually, I just shove them out the door and they go. They come right back in, but they will go.
They love the water but not when it's falling from the sky.
Shove them out the door and reward your dog with a treat when he goes. That usually works.

hell im having the same problem. My biggest problem is that my puppy doesnt like her paws wet, thats y she wont go outside in the rain. I had to put a pee pad in the kitchen (thats where the back door is) so she could look outside and pee... I dont want to drive my dog somewhere else so it can pee lol. The pee pad works great i buy the pack of them at walmart. But you can get them pretty much anywhere.

I get dressed for the weather and go for a walk with the dog. The only time I've found it difficult is when we have a drenching rain, and where I live, we seldom get a downpour that causes us to stay indoors for an extended period of time.

Try going outside with them and take a big umbrella for both of you. Mine sometimes don't want to get wet in the rain either. I finally built a roof over a part of the patio/yard so they would be more willing to go!!

I had to take my Lab out in the car and drive down the street to an area of grass on the side of the road and then take her out on her leash. She would go then and get back in the car and we would go home. She just didn't want to leave the safety of the house unless she went in the car! We did that for years with her. She was afraid of thunder and figured that every time it rained it would eventually thunder! Invest in some blankets and a roll of plastic from the hardware store if you are worried about your car seats. It works.

our dogs will never go out in the rain. We have to wait for a break in it, and then rush them outside as fast as we can. so, good luck.

Just let it outside for awhile. Dogs love the rain and water anyway. They take to it naturally.
