Using a spray bottle isn't mean, however another way of teaching her not to bite is to yelp when she makes contact (not at her) and then ignore her for a short time period. This is what other dogs would do in reaction. I use a spray bottle as an aversive for many behaviors.

no it's not but it won't work. When your puppy bites you, you can either say OW really loud and hold your hand, or when she bites hold her mouth closed tightly and I mean tightly get in her face and in a growly voice say NO Biting hold tightly until she cries, it doesn't hurt its just uncomfortable, then let go. This worked for my Weimaraner she learned not to nip, now if she accidentally bites while playing I just say OW and she knows.

If you wish to make your puppy scared of you and scared of water, by all means, continue your spritz fest.

ive used spritzers, and they don't like it much, but isn't that the point? it works, it doesnt hurt, go ahead. ive heard of people using a little vinegar in the water so it tastes bad, but ive never had to do that.

to instruct a dogs to be quiet, you first ought to instruct them to bark on command. discover something that triggers your dogs to bark, like a doorbell. Say "bark" or "talk" then ring the door bell. To get them to be quiet, cutting-edge a handle and whilst they're quiet, say "quiet" and advantages lower back. What you're surely attempting to realize is that the be conscious "quiet" potential end barking. the certainty that she is barking on the vet looks that she has some stress subject matters. Take treats with you to the vet and prepare "quiet".
