I was wondering. do guys like girls to ask them out themselves or with a friend around? I am oing to aks my friend, Devan, I guy I really like out but I don't know if I should do it by myself or with a friend and wouldit change the results of what he said dependng on who was with me?

I would love ANY woman to ask me first. The guys supposedly strike out 9 times out of 10, so it helps the bruisable male ego a little bit.
More directly: as a Libra, I find it's sometimes tough to make a coin flip judgment call. Your honesty and willingness to take the first step might be all you need to get something good going.

GO FOR IT! But DON'T have a friend around! That'll make him feel pressured and anxious. Also, it makes the situation awkward he'll feel like he'll have to say yes in order not to hurt your feelings with your friends around. You wouldn't want to date a guy whose only dating you because he felt too pressured to say yes, would you? Also, do it when you two are COMPLETELY alone! Not with any of his friends either! If he says yes, good for you! If not, there are more fish in the sea...

There are 2 possibilities here: he is either to shy to ask you out, or he doesn't like you. I would recommend you think about that before you ask him out.
Now, if the case is that he's just too shy, I think you should ask him out just by yourself. This won't change his answer, but he'll feel less pressured. Guys get nervous just like girls, so I'm sure he'd appreciate it.

depends...if you know devan well already, do it by urself and seem confident and wanting to go out w/ him. if you dont know him that well and devan knows ur friend i guess u can bring ur friend but have ur friend leave before heanswers or he would feel a little pressured unless ur all friends. hope it helps

Make sure he is alone when you ask him. I know guys act differently around their friends to seem "cool" to them. If I were you, I would do it alone. This will show him that you have courage to do things on your own.

Please, Do it yourself!! If there's a friend standing around, the guy might get flustered and be embarrassed that someone's witnessing such a personal moment. And (Im not saying this will happen) if he happens to say No, you probably will regret having your friend see you get rejected.
