That is not nice saying one thing then calling back saying something else. I got rid of one doctor after he continually overdosed me by increasing the dosage. Its true some doctors seem to care more for money than the patients like the example I mentioned. But as one person said there are some doctors who care for their patients otherwise they wouldn't be in the work. I write up reports for the doctor and she looks out for me.

I hope TY will recover his surgery was cancelled this is one area where the doctor should have been up front with you.

In the last 4 months I have fired 3 doctors. one was rude and obnoxious, one was an egotistical maniac, and one wanted me to make 3 appointments to write prescriptions for 3 meds. He was killing my insurance. Go to another in Dec.
I sure hope she is as good heart specialist says she is. We'll see soon enough. Doctors, it seems to me don't have time for people anymore, just patients with good insurance.

I honesty believe doctors care a great deal about their patients, else they wouldn't put up with what they put up with. It is the insurance companies and bureaucracy from the administrators and people that have never seen the patients that they are in charge of who are doing the cost cutting. Most docs have their hands tied.

I come across alot of doctors nowadays that have terrible bedside manners! I'm like "if you hate dealing with patients, then why the hell are you a damn doctor?"

My advice...always get a second and third opinion.
