I feel your very fortunate to have a dad who is "careing"!! Really! He's the type that will be holding the ole shotgun when a boy who doesn't treat you right comes along! :-)

Try asking him if he'll spend a day with you at the mall so he can see the fashions that are out in your sizes and try outfits on for him so maybe he'll see that it is ok to dress like a teen.......a decent teen! :-)

Don't scream and yell, sit him down and act and be mature about him going with you. Show him your responsible and mature enough to not be the wild teens he hears about and see's.

Make up can come later sweety! Your probably so beautiful that you don't need it anyways!

Good luck and be proud though that your one of the lucky ones left out there that has a father who CARES!!

When you get the opportunity for a quiet chat explain to him that your friends are allowed a little make up and to wear things they like sometimes and you feel you are old enough too. Tell him that you would be responsible but just want to dress up a little now and then. He is just being over protective of his little girl but it is natural that you are thinking about these things now. Hopefully he will agree with you very soon. Good luck x

First, your dad cares very much about you.
Second, he,s scared of losing his little girl to the big wide world, basically he,s frightened of you grown up, a bit old fashioned and blinkered but it is a club with thousands of members. sit him down on your own and just talk to him like an adult, don't get stroppy or come out with attitude, tell him how you feel, and listen to how he feels as well, you both may be surprised.Let him know gently that you ARE growing up but you also need his advice. Good luck x

Write him a letter and explain why you want to wear make up and tell him why you had to write a letter. Also ask him why he wont let you. But it would be better to talk to him. You never said anything about your Mother? I hope all is OK on that front.

Your dad knows how teenage boys think.
If you dress like a britney spears, guys will look at you as a human sex toy to be used and flushed down the toilet when theyre through with you.
This is the image makeup and sexy clothes bring to girls.Like it or not those are the facts and he doesnt want you to give out that image.Listen to him, he knows what he is doing and you will be glad later.
Would you rather guys run after you drooling, thinking " MAN!Id love to get in her panties!" but not respecting you, or guys thinking she is pretty and I respect her, she is a decent honest human being and I like her because she does NOT dress like britney!

Who does he think he is? Tell him to f uck off. Wait, maybe he knows what boys are like and what they like? You are Daddy's little girl, of course. Tell him to let go, you can fend for yourself now. Not that you can even if you think so. Golly, what does Mum think?
