Umm..... yeah bust out the grub! Is this a rhetorical question?

If I came home and found my son on the floor crying because he was hungry I'd tell the mother, the wife of course to roll it up (herself only and all her belongings) and to go to her mothers and to wait for the divorce papers for cruel and unusual punishment. I'd also suspect that the wife and mother was fat and eating all the food instead of feeding the son cause the wife and mother is a solid compact couch potato full of crumbs, crusts, paper wrappers and half eaten cookies, popcorn, candy bars, plus a couch full of stains of coffee and soda. Oh, then I'd take the son to chow down where ever he wished. This is why I'm a wonderful father even if I do not have sons or daughers though my dog is kind of like my son.

Depends on the situation...If I am making dinner, then he is just gonna have to wait without throwing a fit or it is corner time. If it is because there is a lack of food in the house, then I will do whatever I need to do to make sure food gets into the house. Your question is too open ended, to give a good response I would have to know why he is on the floor crying, besides the fact that he is hungry. Also knowing how old your son is would make it easier to answer the question in a more effective manner.

If one of mine is hungry, they know they have to ask me for things, not throw a fit.

First off my son wouldn't be at home crying on the floor. Secondly depending on the age of the boy I would hope that he would have enough sense to be able to find something to feed himself. Now if he is below the age of 12 it is another story and the parents should have CPS called on them.

Well, you should feed him but the only way to do that is to sleep with a man for a little bit of money...cause, I'm sure, his daddy's gone--somewhere smokin' rock now, probably in and out of lock-down...and if you ain't got a job now, then that's what you gotta do because this is life.

You know, girl you ain't the only one with a baby and it's no excuse to be living all crazy--and I know you probably wake up hoping to die, I know you know about pain and you had to run away...but trust me, I can relate.

But you gotta get up on your feet and let go of every excuse
'Cause if I were you I wouldn't want my baby to go through what I went through...you know, so get up on your feet and stop making up tired excuses because girl I know if I can do it baby you can do it!

Depends -
Is he an obese child just wanted more food for his addiction, or is he a malnourished child in desperate need of nutrition??

If he's malnourished, beg borrow or steal to feed him

If he's just throwing a tantrum, like a brat wanting a new toy, or worse, a junkie needing a fix - ignore him!!!!
No kid ever died from crying. You are not doing him ANY FAVOR by giving in to his fits. If he is overweight you are doing permanant damage by feeding his addiction.

YOU are the adult - act like one

Depends on lots of things. How old is my son? If he's two years old, that's one thing - if he's fifteen, it's another story. Is he not eating because he's sick? Because he's anorexic? Because there's no food at all in the house? Because he'll only eat pizza? Something needs to be done, though - talking, maybe counselling. And, of course, eating.

Well the obvious answer is to feed him, so I'm guessing that you know this already, so this must mean that you don't want to feed him, which insinuates that you should call child protective services on your sorry but. Sorry so blunt, its just a stupid question.

Well geez... that's a toughy. I guess I'd just have to FEED HIM and see if that helped. Eating tends to make a lot of people happier when they're hungry. Strange thing, that.
