i have noticed on this answers that anyone who is disabled or asks advice for a disabled friend. relative etc, etc, there are nasty replies, why? at the end of the day it is not no ones fault about being disabled and i think people should keep rude comments to themselves as it easily offends.

I agree with all the answers so far, they should just get a life, but this isn't really the best situation here either. People get points just to say whatever they want, even if it's rude or unsensitive or whatever. If they come across something they don't understand, they'll probably just be nasty for the hell of it, and yay, two more points.

Maybe if Yahoo answers changed their policy and made sure that users who were reported as saying nasty things, lost points (get two for a question, lose three if your answer is reported as rude - and I don't mean just thumb down), then it might help and people wouldn't just answer any question just to get points.

Thanks for standing up, I'm giving you a star for this!

PS: Doctor Simon, no offense, you have a good theory there but I'm lonely and not happy with my life either, but why would that be a reason to bring other people down? Maybe it's just me but I actually feel better knowing I've been able to help someone. Just confused now how you came to that theory, also since it might explain the kids that used to bully me at school (they seemed to be rather popular and happy to me, they just seemed to find it fun to bring me down). Please explain it for me? Thank you.

God bless you.

If only the world was that simple.

The Internet is a place where people can hide their true identities and attack people to vent their own frustrations, inadequacies or anger.

When you use sites like Yahoo Answers it full of really nice intelligent people, but now and then you do get the 'idiots' and there is not much we can do about that.

People that are insulting and attack those on the Internet are usually very lonely and angry individuals, dissatisfied with their own lives and full of resentment, they seek 'balance' by trying to upset others.

Don't let these people bother you - hold your head high, rise above it and walk away - you are the stronger person.

I completely agree. Most people would do this to get a response from others. It's a similar situation to that immature kid in school that won't stop throwing stuff at you. He just wants to get a rise out of others. I am always disappointed, but not suprised, when people would degrade or belittle another human being because they didn't fit in the mold they came from.

Some people have very little ability and or willingness to empathies with other peoples problems
so as they probably whing about things they assume that a problem of others is just a whing when they cant relate to it as they are thinking of themselves and can not understand that others have problems

People who are nasty have no friends and this is their way of getting back at the world they think hates them because, they hate themselves.

would I call her my BFF if she wasn't? ok, I merely checked it out and that i can't tension to you the magnitude of locking your doors. permit her in now and lower back, in case you would be able to desire to, yet she somewhat desires to be attentive to there are some limitations. If not, she'll be over there all of the time in spite of the fact that in case you're homestead or over right here, she'll be there. With beads.
