I'm getting a ring for my boyfriend for our 2yr anniversary. It's not an expensive ring, but I think he'd love the sentiment of it. I'm trying to come up with something to engrave on the inside that's cute, but not too mushy or boring. Any good ideas? Right now, I'm just thinking something general like "Love you forever and always". But I think that's too common and generic - what do you think?

Maybe you should put something that is sentimental to the both of you and a little more personal than "Love you forever & always."
Do you two say something to each other, that holds special meaning? For example, when my boyfriend tells me he loves me, I ask him "How much?" and though his response changes, its' usually something far away; IE. the moon, pluto, or sometimes we joke and say "to the dog Pluto at Disneyland & back" or to "Alaska & back". Something like that, I think would be really cute, and a personal thing between you two, try something like that.

If you're really serious in your relationship (like looking towards marriage) You're suggestion is very cute. If you haven't really thought about that much, then don't say that because of the Forever and Always.
Also, do you have an inside joke with him? I think that'd be cute, because everytime he reads it he would smile :)
