The symbol consists of a vertical pointed bar in the center of the grapic with a curved line with loops on both ends, Beneath that there is a short horizontal bad with sort horizontal bars on the ends, That piece cerosses the center vertical. The bottom piece of the drawing consists of a backwards F with the tail of the F curving into a forward F with the liwer bars of the F joined by a crossbar.

I have a scan of the graphic if that would help in identification.

Sounds Hermetic to me. Do some research on Hermetic symbols and see what you come up with. It may be just a one off sigil but I can't tell without knowing the context. Send me the pic by PM if you like and I will ask a friend who is a symbol expert.

I think you need to show the scanned symbol, your description is a just a little bit difficult to envision.

I'd have to see it to even make a guess, sorry. It's just too complex for description.
