The ones I know :(
My Gran looked after me while my parents worked, and she taught me please and thank you, but that was about it. Since getting older i've learnt more, but i'm always worried i'm makeing a 'Faux Pas'.
I mean, I only learnt how to use a knife and fork properly at 17/18, and before that had to live with my dad moaning all the time at family get togethers because of my poor table manners!

Manners were one of the main lessons taught at home in my generation, - along with things like 'small children should be seen and not heard', another lesson taught at home was respect. When you learn things like this at a young age you carry them through life, so in answer to your question - yes I always remember my manners.

Everyday...As the saying goes,"Manners maketh the man".
It doesn't cost anything to be polite to people;and in most cases your good manners are returned. So have a nice day/night,wherever you are and take care.

Most of the time.
Sometimes I don't say 'sorry' if I bump into someone,
or thank you when the waiter re-fills my drink. But afterwards
it hits me that "Hello, WHERE are my manners?"

Of course. It was ingrained in us to be polite and well mannered, I couldn't be any other way ... I'm 41 by the way.
