Depends whether or not the £1 coin damaged any of the internals by shorting them out. It sounds like it must have caused a short circuit somewhere as the PS3 stopped working.
In this case the proof of the pudding will be in the eating, there is no way of telling if it caused any damage until you remove it and try it again after you've put it back together.

Ha Ha That **** makes me snort, all they have performed for all of those photos is taken a exhibit screen shot whilst enjoying the game and then left one area the comparable and extremely blured the different and suggested look on the adaptation, its a promotion and marketing gimmack, all manufacturers do it. cleansing product, Shampoos, television's, Gaming consoles. in case you belive you will desire to be gullible. merely look, its the comparable shot, to think of that somebody controlled to get 2 suitable exhibit screen photos on 2 sperate consloes and then splice them at the same time and that individuals actualy belive that's humorous. And that final link sounds like they used distinctive tvs, the size of the photos are distinctive to start up. What they want, is to get a x360 and a PS3 with 2 comparable displays and setups area via area in a gloomy room with the comparable game and form of the comparable shot and then take a picture of it, that way you would be able to desire to as we talk study the two photos and be attentive to no one is messing with the photos. practice me that and sick belive the outcomes.

Have you checked the fuse in the plug, if there is one? A bit obvious, but you never know, the coin might have caused it to blow if it short circuited something.

It's nice to hear, that it's working again, but you had opened it, so, my guess, you don't have a warranty anymore.
