I know a big, HUGE secret that ruined one of my friends. She had a great bf ( her words ) and then he dumped her. But thats not all he dumped her because one of my other friends told him that she was cheating on him with another guy because she ( girl who told the lie ) Liked him. I am really good friends with both of them and I don't want either of them to be unhappy or mean. i mean like I really didn't even know if she liked him or if she just didn't like the girl. But i want to atleast tell the girl but I don't want the other girl to hate me. WHAT DO I DO?!

Tell the guy it's not true. It might not be the only reason he broke up with her...let him know (but you don't necessarily have to rat out your other friend) so he can make his own decision about whether or not he wants to go back to your friend.
The brilliance is, if he believes you and goes back to your friend, he'll probably be the one who explained someone said she was cheating. Not you.

Put yourself in your friend's place that had a boyfriend, would you want to feel that pain for nothing you did wrong? Wouldn't you want your friend to tell you even if that's a good friend f hers? Okay, back in your own shoes, do you want your lying friend to steal your guy next time? Do you want your heartbroken over a lie? You have the power to make it right, you might lose a "good friend" in you opinion, but how good is she if she has to stoop so low as to say someone was cheating on someone else if it's not true?

i dumped my bf because my friend told me he said some stuff about me....so yea i would be mad if my friend told me that she lied about him, but i'd be happy that i can go back to my bf. i think its just best for everyone to tell the truth because i hate confusing fights that are all based on lies. good luck!

DO NOT get involved. One way or another you will be hated by one or the other if you snitch. If this guy believes a lie without checking it out thoroughly, he may not be worth fussing over.
