you could post a pic, but im going to tell you right now, a pit bull is VERY hard to pick out if you dont know what you are looking for.

check this out and see if you can find the pit bull in this little game.

but for your sake, i hope hes got a lil pitty in him.. if so you should be honored to possess a little piece of such a wonderfull breed(just dont tell your parents, lol)

There are LOTS of dogs that are mistaken for pitbulls... labs included. Do not assume your dog is a pitbull, no matter what! Only a professional should give you your dog's heritage (i.e. a veterinarian or a show judge, or another individual who KNOWS what a pitbull is supposed to look like)

We'd have to see a picture to determine this. Unfortunately, many dog breeds (and mixes) are often mistaken to have Pit Bull in the mix. Most of them, do not.

Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Boxers, American Bulldogs, Labradors, etc have all been mistaken.

What kind of dog were you told that he is. American bulldogs can look alot like pitbulls. And lab mixs sometimes look like pit bull mixes

Need a picture to tell. It doesn't really matter if he's part pit bull or not, though. Most pits are nice dogs, and it's really impossible to prove his lineage either way.

kickrock is right...i have 2 staffies and love them very much.

why not have your parents take the test on the website kickrock showed you.....
remember, looks can be deceiving also...perception is everything,if people perceive that a dog is a pit not much will change their mind UNLESS you can prove it...take the test with your parents.
