Find an adult whom you trust and talk to him about this. It's something all boys go through and it's not bad in and of itself -- unless it becomes excessive.

Sexuality is a gift from God, as we read in the book of Genesis.
It is meant to be shared, a physical expression of our love and concern for a member of the opposite sex with whom we have made a life-long commitment through marriage and is open to the possibility of procreation.
There is a sharp distinction between "making love" and "having sex." The former constitutes the wise use of the gift of sexuality, whereas the latter falls short of this ideal.
Masturbation is self-directed. As such, is a distortion of human sexuality.
By nature, it is incapable of expressing love and concern for an other person. It is also incapable of the possibility of procreation, in fulfillment of our Creator's injunction to "be fruitful and multiply."
Since it "misses the mark" of the wise use of the gift of sexuality, it is considered sinful. This is especially so in cases in which masturbation becomes an addiction.

There is NOTHING wrong with masturbation!
It doesn;t cause blindness, or hair to grow on your hand or anythingl ike that!
Masturbation is not a sin, it is a natural thing. God would not of have given us the ability to if it was a sin. Do it as much as you want! People scare you to think that it is bad, but really, it's OK to do.

All teenagers do it. You are not weird.
Brave of you to ask the question.
We all have a war on between the Spirit and the Flesh. But at your age the hormones in your system leave you vulnerable.
Ask God to forgive you, then go on with life.
It is not the end of the world. You are not the worst sinner in the galaxy, just a normal teenager.
Guess what, God loves you anyway.

I am sorry for you with this problem. Telling boys that masturbation is a sin is only one of the evil things Christians have done. It is a natural sexual activity and you cannot do it to excess nor will you go blind and nor will you go to hell. You cant anyway as hell is just another of the evil things Christians tell people to frighten them. And don't let any nasty person tell you is is immoral. There is in fact only one moral rule you should obey which is in itself difficult and that is you should do no harm.

No it is not a sin. Nor is it anything to be ashamed of.
Any idiots, such as pattscool, who tell you it is are too stupid for words.
Your body is doing what it is has to do as a healthy young man and if you are a sinner then so is every priest and pope that ever lived.
Don't let anybody tell you otherwise or make you feel guilty.

The Catholic church would like you to believe it's wrong, because they stupidly feel that every last sperm deserves the chance to create life. The fact that you will have wet dreams and wipe out billions of sperm in that way is a not a sin of course.
If you want my advice, promise to stick to all there rules as long as they do. So as long as catholic priests a having sex with young boys, you feel free to give all your normal bodily functions a regular test drive.

Every human being masturbates irrespective of religious practise. And if anyone says they don't, then they are lying. Masturbate til your little heart and what ever else is satisfied.
It is most deffinatly NOT a sin....if sin exists at all.

You're 16 and you can go weeks without release? That isn't a sin, that's incredible.
But seriously, it's natural, don't feel bad about it.
