i past mine 4th time because of nerves,i mounted a kerb reversing round corner, nearly knocked over a pedestrian on my second on a zebra crossing and backed into lampost breaking the instructors lights on my third.the only way to pass is to keep trying it does not matter who passes first time,it does not mean that you are more competant driver it just means that on that day at that time all went well.when you get into a car with who ever teaches you ask them to treat you like you would be treated on the test.no speaking just directions or maybe change instructors every so often to get u used to having starngers in the car.in any event keep trying take a deep breath and try to ignore the fact that you have a starnger in the car with you.that is really all u can do.if that does not work just think at least you should be on first name terms with the examiners!!sorry.good luck

Auto fail is something that the instructor in the car tells you. This can happen for many reasons. Just be sure to buckle up, adjust your mirrors, and DONT think too hard. The actual test only last about 25min ... and its not hard at all. Keep your hands at aprox 9 and 2 on the wheel. You'll do just fine. Oh and by the way your test can only be taken in a car that has the emergency break in between the 2 front seats. GOOD LUCK

All examiners are expected to allow anxiety and nervousness...Am surprised he failed you just because you went a Lil haywire with reverse parking and you must have been in control cause you didn't hit anything..6 minors seems a lot and maybe that is where you went wrong...good Luck next time

I was the same way. I failed mine twice before I finally passed it. I would get nervous and i couldn't think straight. And the examiner I had was really intmidating. I would just get so scared. But I finally learned to calm myself down, and not to wory too much about my examiner. I just kindof put my mind in a different place. and relaxed.
So just learn to relax and calm down and i'm pretty sure you'll pass the next tim.

Practice calming yourself, there are many breathing techniques that will help. One way to improve is to show more confidence in your driving, and then the fear won't make your hands shake.

Just drive the damn car. why in the world do you care about the examiner? Forget him. Most of them are pricks anyway.
