My fiance and i have been together for almost eight months. we're getting married next month and we still don't have a song.
we're complete opposites. i'm into hair, fashion, and music. and he is into chess, computers, and soccer.
it seems like i've listened to a million songs trying to find one just right for us, but i'm not having much luck. any suggestions?

I assume you are looking for your first dance song. You definitely want to choose a song that means something to both of you. Is there a favorite movie that has a good love song? Think of your first date, the first time you saw each other, the first time you knew that each other was "the one".

It's hard to make suggestions when we don't know you but
here are some web sites that may help:

You need a song as in you need a "first dance" song? Or you need a song as in, "they're playing our song"?

If it is the former, I was recently at a wedding where the first dance was "L-O-V-E" by Sinatra, I think. ("L is for the way you look at me, O is for the only one I see..." etc) It was perfect and classic and unexpected but traditional.

Another possibility is "The Way You Look Tonight."

If you're looking for something that is a little sillier, "When I'm 64" might be a good choice.

If your issue is that you've been together for 8 months and don't have "a song" that you share, that might be something to just not stress over until you've been together longer. 8 months really isn't that long. You will probably find that in the first few years of your marriage there will be a song playing at a romantic moment and you'll remember it. Don't try to "find" a song that represents you -- it'll come to you in time if it's meant to be. Not every couple has a song, period. My boyfriend and I have several.

My husband and I used "To Make You Feel My Love" written by Bob Dylan, and sung by Billy Joel and some country singer (maybe Garth Brooks). Anyway, it's a beautiful song. My husband and I are opposites too!! LOL

GOOD LUCK!
