Yes. My husband was a fatal traffic crash reconstructionist for the State Police in our state and so many of the crashes that he policed would not have been fatals if the people were wearing their seat belts. Yes, there are some crashes that you are going to die in, no matter what. But a lot of them you could walk away from with very few or minor injuries if you had your set belt on. One of the main things that happened to people was they were ejected from their vehicles and then run over by their own car! Anyway, because of all the blood, gore, body parts, etc. that he saw in his career, we are seat belt wearers.

Absolutely. I was a police officer and had to see the results of unbelted occupants of vehicles. It made me a believer. Plus I race off road and the difference between being in a five point harness and unrestrained is unbelievable. I started driving before seat belts were required and the difference in the injury rate ought to be the deciding factor.

always. i was still a kid when the seatbelt laws passed in CA and so i have been in the habit since i was 10 years old.

Yes. It is not worth the fine we pay here to get a ticket for not wearing it.

sometimes. probably should but it is conflicting since a friend of mine was killed because of a seatbelt.

My life depends on it, ofcourse i do. Even if it's just to go a couple of blocks. I would be crazy not to, especially with madmen cruising the streets/ roads nowadays.

For some Reason I only where my seat belt when I am driving ....If a friend or someone if driving i do not. I would think it should be the other way around!
