Is Skelaxin one of those meds that makes you feel "good" or is it like IP proffen? Im suppose to combine them with Hydrocodone. It says to take the skelaxin 3 times a day, will it make me to sleepy to function at work?

hydrocodone is a narcotic pain medication, it will make you sleepy and unable to function properly at work. And you should not drive while taking this drug.

SKELAXIN (metaxalone) is indicated as an adjunct to rest, physical therapy, and other measures for the relief of discomforts associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions. The mode of action of this drug has not been clearly identified, but may be related to its sedative properties. Metaxalone does not directly relax tense skeletal muscles in man.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
The recommended dose for adults and children over 12 years of age is one 800 mg tablet three to four times a day.

obviously the skelaxin will also work to make you sedated, if you take the two together, you should definitely stay home.

Skelaxin is not a narcotic. Hyrdocodone is. Yes, you can take them both safely together. Skelaxin doesn't really do much except work as a mild muscle relaxor. Hydrocodone (generic Vicodin) is the fun one. I've got lots of experience with both as I have scoliosis that is often very painful.
