If you spend too much time together it's good for a while, but then you just feel trapped... absense makes the heart grow fonder, so if you aren't around as much and keep yourself busy he'll be able to cherish the time you do spend together, also you have to be spontaneous and not just do the same thing all the time. If he hasn't really hung out with his friends much lately, encourage him to. Make yourself less available, more time and more communication isn't always good in relationships. I've noticed that my friends parents don't spend too much time together but when they do it's amazing cause they connect so well and my parents on the other hand don't want much to do with each other and I feel like they're forced to be with each other cause they spend a lot of time together. Idk, that what I think... and it's worked out well for my relationship... since my bf is in the car industry he has to travel but it makes us closer and we connect on a deeper level than just having him physically there alot. I kinda just rambled on but I hope that makes sense :D

Maybe the best thing for you to do is give him his space. No matter how bad he wants to be with you all the time you two still need your seperate space. Let him go out with his friends more or if you two just can't stand to be apart then make it a group hangout so it is casual and you guys can get some sort of space away from eachother.

Who knows, maybe he is getting nervous because he's been thinking alot about your guys' future & thinking about kicking it up a notch. You guys have been together for a couple years, right? If you guys are at a decent age maybe a more permanent relationship is in the near future?

Do I hear church bells? Could just be me...

Maybe you should ask him. Two years is a long time to be with someone.

Communication is key and you don't want to be with someone if he is just going through the motions.

Go somewhere comfortable and talk it out.
